Islands Of The West Indies for FS2004

Previously released as Islands of the West Indies Volumes 1 through 3, the "IWI" series is now finally complete with volumes 1 through 4, all packaged into a single, complete product. This scenery package has been more than 4 years in the making. If you have followed it's progress through previous volumes, you will know that it affords the sim-pilot the opportunity to fly over 700,000 square miles of the Caribbean. This area has been sadley neglected in the default scenery, until now. "Islands of the West Indies" offers hundreds of hours of entertainment as you work your way south from Hispaniola to the shores of South America. Tropical trade winds, coral reefs, palm fringed beaches and warm friendly people await you as you fly low and slow exploring this paradise.

Designed by Chris Wilkes, and published by Flight1, The scenery "Islands of the West Indies", features accurate "mesh terrain" elevation data, hand colored and rendered bitmaps, extensive night lighting effects and completely custom renditions of all the airports in the region. It covers the islands of, Anguilla, St.Maarten, St.Barts, Saba, St.Eustatius, St.Kitts and Nevis, Montserrat, Antigua and Barbuda, Guadeloupe, La desirade, Marie galante, Les Saintes, Dominica, Martinique, St.Lucia, St. Vincent, Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Mayreau, Union Island, Carriacou, Grenada, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Los Testigos, Margarita Island, Isla Coche, La Tortuga, La Blanquilla, La Orchila, Los Roques, Las Aves, Bonaire, Curacao and Aruba.

The scenery is completely FS2004 compatible with "Autogen" scenery throughout. Look for special effects, ATC/AI facilities and additional "traffic" for those that require it. This package represents the complete IWI series. All of the islands, and all of the airports. A host of undiscovered destinations await you.

FS Compatibility / System Requirements

This product is only compatible with FS2004, so of course, FS2004 is required. For your computer, we recommend you have a 1.6 GHz machine, with a 128 Mb memory video card. System memory should be a minimum of 512. Low-end on-board sound chips are NOT recommended. A plugin sound card, such as a Soundblaster Audigy, is recommended. In some cases, sounds will not work correctly unless you have an adequate sound card.

Windows XP is the official operating system that is supported for use with Islands Of The West Indies for FS2004. It may work with other Microsoft operating systems, however this is not supported by Flight One.
